New exhibition featured in Georgia Straight article

The Cannery’s participation in this year’s Doors Open Richmond virtual event is featured in this Georgia Straight article written by editor Charlie Smith.

The theme of this year’s Doors Open Richmond is “Multiculturalism and Civic Awareness”. This theme lends itself well to the Cannery’s virtual tour of the Waves of Innovation: Stories from the West Coast exhibition. The exhibition explores the different effects of adaptation and change on the different communities in the west coast fishing and canning industries.
