Beginning January 1, 2025, all new bookings for School Programs will be charged at a per-class rather than per-student rate. The cost will be $270.50 for 105-minute programs, and $235.25 for 90-minute programs, for up to 30 students. Any bookings for the 2024-25 school year confirmed by December 31, 2024 will be charged at the current rate of $7.75/student. Book now to lock in your preferred date and the current rate!

Overview

  • Programs are available in both in French and in English
  • Programs and tours are offered on weekdays throughout the year. 
  • Students will be visiting a historic cannery. The programs are held indoors, but the temperature will be similar to the temperature outdoors, and often times cooler.
  • Admission is $7.75 per student, taxes included. A minimum of 10 participants is required per program. Note: Program pricing is in the process of being updated for the 2024-2025 school year. Current program pricing will be honoured until updated pricing is approved.
  • Receive a 20% discount off your class’ second program when two programs are booked for the same class, on the same day. 
  • Free parking and an indoor lunch space (up to 50 people) are offered.
  • Teachers from within the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley interested in visiting the site prior to a program may book a tour with our Education Programs Coordinator by emailing bookings@gogcannery.org or calling 604 664 9261.

Day Camps / Out of School Care (ages 6 to 12)

Cannery Quest is a fun and interactive experience for youth 6 to 12. Stepping away from the traditional curriculum-based learning, this program includes: A Journey Through Time (15 minute film), a Canning Line tour, scavenger hunt and games. Students and youth will enjoy being immersed in and engaged by our rich history. (90 minutes)
