Music at the Cannery – supporting local artists, from home

This year, under current circumstances, our summer concert series Music at the Cannery has been cancelled, so we will be sharing the line-up of incredible local talent that we were expecting to welcome. All of the musicians had been booked earlier in the year, and all were very understanding of the situation. So throughout the summer, we’ll share how to enjoy their music online.

LJ Mounteney

A newcomer to Music at the Cannery, LJ Mounteney is no stranger to Steveston, having previously performed at the Beatmerchant record store in the village. She has a new album being produced to go along with her debut, Here in the Dark. She is also expecting to do a live concert online this summer. Stay tuned for details on her website, Facebook page, and Instagram.

Rock Line performing for Music at the Cannery in 2018.

Father and son duo Gerry and Trevor Layton of Rock Line, was preparing to take the stage once again this summer, bringing the best of British Rock (and some originals) to Steveston. They are always a joy to have at the Cannery, and are a crowd favourite. Check out their website for more details.

Copper Crow Blues Band

The Copper Crow Blues Band was another new band scheduled to join us this summer. They’re a six-member band that always keeps the audience moving! You can relive the Blues era through their music and performances found on their website, Facebook page, and YouTube.
