Hedges Manufacturing – Fish Plugs

We have history mystery presented by someone who reached out to us from Washington State.

A collector of many things salmon, including old salmon cans, labels, and fish plugs, he is seeking information about these two fish plugs. According to the box packaging that they came in, they were made by the Hedges Manufacturing Company in White Rock, BC.

He would like to know more about these plugs, which apparently are quite rare. One is called the “Dauntless” and one is called the “Supreme” (possibly named after a couple of ships by the same name).
