Cannery Update

January 10 Update: We have reopened and are operating within our regular hours.

Following the heavy rain and high tides across the South Coast, on the morning of Tuesday, December 27th the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site experienced minor flooding. This incident resulted in minimal damage to the building. The portion of the Cannery most affected was the gift shop and our exhibits remain largely undamaged.  

We are pleased to share that we will be reopening Tuesday, January 10th. We have greatly appreciated your patience and look forward to seeing you all again.
