Get into the holiday spirit and explore a display of illuminated holiday trees inside the historic cannery.
The Steveston Festival of Trees is an opportunity for local merchants and community groups to festively decorate trees in a friendly competition to win the top vote for favourite tree, hosted at the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site for the month of December. Voting can be done onsite or by liking your favourite tree’s photo in this Facebook album between December 1-22, and the winner will be announced Friday, December 23.
Regular admission for entry applies. Due to our building’s unique placement over the water and historic architecture, it is colder inside the Cannery than it is outdoors; please dress appropriately to stay comfortable.
